Luxon/Kurzick Faction Farm - Nerf/Buff Questions - Guild Wars Forums

Hey all, been away from GW's for what seems like forever, just before I left I was enjoying ( well not really, but reaping the benefits of ) Kurzick HFFF. So now I read that it's basically been nerfed. Seems like vanquishing and handing in books is now the best way to get faction? Luxon FFF also seems unchanged? Is that now a better way to earn faction than the Kurzick sides options? Not really bothered either way....Rank 10 in Luxon is enough for me, just a pain since I bought some Kurz skills and now need to rebuy them all as luxon it seems. ( Kurz title is lower than my luxon title. )

Now Vanq'ing and handing in books, along with AB, FA, JQ get you good amounts of Faction now. Vanq'ing and books, I think, average out to more than what HFFF did.

Since the Kurzick and Luxon pve skills are the same except for the name, why do you want to max both?

I'm working on my Kurzick title at the moment. Vanquishing Morostav Trail. Run takes about 40 minutes and yields about 22k-23k of Kurzick faction and 5k in gold and drops. Add 30 minutes for merching items after a run and team grouping. So in 2.5 hours I get 67k faction which is 135k to the title track. Donating that much per day will get me to r12 in 50+ days. Piece of cake.

eH, it is less of an I am coming back thread than it is a question about the faction gaining methods. Regardless, now there are a multitude of ways to max your kurz/lux titles instead of the same grind mess that there was before, they have their own grind involved, BUT at least they do provide actual gameplay instead of the incessant flaggage

When vanquishing I would ignore those 400 faction hunt down some mobs or deliver something quests because the mobs associated with those quests have been buffed to the point it is no longer worth the time and effort it takes to complete them. It is much easier and faster to just vanquish the regular mobs, rinse and repeat.

morostav is the way to go for kurz side for sure. 300 enemies pack into a relatively small zone when compared to something like ferndale. not to mention bosses rampant as well. it just happens to be on of the more challenging vanquishes =D (if u can call vanquishing challenging any more)

Urgoz HM clear =15k/30 mins

thats how im doing it anyways.. I do the occasional vanq but i dont like zombie mode and the urgoz drops sell pretty well

jade quarry now gets you more points for a win than ab does, same with fort aspenwood. I've been doing jade quarry and the morostav vanquish for my kurzick title
